Tournament Rules for The Open

BAT TESTING WILL BEGIN AT 7:30am FOR ALL B AND C TEAMS!
BAT TESTING WILL OCCUR FOR THE D AND E BRACKETS FOR THE FINAL 4 TEAMS IN THE AFTERNOON

• 25 Total Bats for 20 Passes
• All bats will be stickered and barreled to start the day and to start the D and E testing.
  After your first game you will take your stickered bats with you.  When you return for your next game  you will put your bats in the barrel.  This will prevent any opportunity to make a mistake and bring out a non-stickered bat.
• All Failed bats will be returned after the team has finished testing due to counts of total number of bats to be tested needing finalized
• If a bat that has been passed for play breaks during the event, we will allow you to have one(1)  additional bat test to replace the broken bat.  We will not test multiple bats to get a pass.

HR Rules
Open Bracket:

B Class – 8 HR’s; all others are outs
C Class – 5 HR’s; all others are outs

 Men’s D Bracket:

3 HR’s plus 1 DHH; all others are IEO’s

Men’s E Bracket:

1 HR plus 1 DHH; all others are IEO’s

Baserunning:
1 courtesy runner per inning(GSL Rule – anyone on the roster)
Optional Runner for the pitcher

Pitching:
Pitcher MUST toe the rubber when pitching the softball

May bat 12 batters
May use Classic M or Pro M ball of any brand(only ball not allowed is the Dudley Thunder Advanced Multi-Layer ball)
Must hit 1.20BPF(240 bats)

Be prepared to play 30 minutes prior to your scheduled game time(after your first game).

Only two on deck batters allowed out of the dugout at a time while hitting.  Everyone else must be in the dugout. 

We will play the GSL Re-Entry rule(double re-entry) this weekend.

All other rules will default to the USSSA rulebook.
