Tournament Rules:

• .Pool Play – No New Inning after 65 minutes
• HR Rule -  3 HR’s outside the “non-normal” rules
• 1 courtesy runner per inning + runner for pitcher is optional
• May bat as many as you want in your lineup

FUN Rules

In both Pool Play and Bracket Play the following rules will be in effect, as well as the “normal” tournament rules:

1st Inning – normal softball.  Rules above and all USSSA rules are ones that will apply

2nd Inning – Unlimited HR’s for this inning for each team

3rd Inning – all players must run the bases backward (batter runner runs to 3rd instead of 1st base first.  If the batter accidentally runs to the wrong bag first, the batter runner must come back to home before proceeding to the correct bag.  The batter/runner may NOT cut across the infield to get to the correct bag.

4th Inning – any HR hit in this inning will count two runs for the batter/runner plus the runners will count as normal( i.e. HR with 3 runners on base will count for 5 runs instead of 4, 2 for batter runner + 3 for the base runners.

5th Inning – each team may use an 11th player on defense.  This player will not have to be in the batting lineup.

6th Inning – resume to normal softball and normal rules apply.

7th Inning – Continue normal softball

Extra Innings – will move to 1 pitch until the conclusion of the game (unless time has expired)

Bracket Play will keep same rules regardless of Hi or Lo bracket, but will feature a joker’s wild format.  The team who wins the pregame coin toss has the option of home or away, or they may pick a card out of the deck for the number of “normal” HR’s each team will receive.  The other team would then decide whether to be home or away.
