Start times and weather outlook

Please know we are watching the rainy weather closely and will do everything we can to hold if possible- while also considering the need to make a final call for everyone. We have secured a second park (Pfitzer- 3 fields) if the need arrises to start later and spread out. I'm working on a couple variations to brakets to account for delays.

Best case, wet start time of 10am. Both days. I'm not going to even consider an early start, because Parks & Rec will have final call for morning at 7am if we can play. Of course, if the fields are just a mess, I'll pull the plug earlier.

Worst case, it's a washout. Not more to say. 

Sunday's weather continues to improve and I'm more hopeful. Stay tuned for updates, but again, plan to start at 10am to allow fields to be worked and decisions to be made.

Women’s Rules:

No New Inning After 60 Minutes

4 HR’s per team.  All others are outs.

1 courtesy runner per inning + plus a runner for the pitcher(optional). Anyone on the roster.

International tie breaker rule will be used if time expires or 7 innings are played and the game is tied.

Men’s Rules:

Men’s D and E

No New Inning after 60 Minutes

Home Runs – 3 Home Runs + DHH Rule is in effect; all others are outs

Men’s Open

No New Inning after 65 Minutes

Home Runs – 8 Home Runs; all others are outs

General Rules:

Parking – please park in a parking spot at Valley View.  If you park anwhere that is not an actual parking spot, whether in the grass, or in the gravel areas marked No Parking, your vehicle will be ticketed and possibly towed at your expense.  If there are no spots in front of field 5, there is a whole parking lot across the street from field 1.  Please utilize that parking lot as much as possible.  Each coach will be given 20 parking slips that you need to display in your dashboard while at the event please.  There is a lot of blame going back and forth with he soccer organization and the only way the Rangers can tell the difference is if they see the parking slips.  Thank you for adhering to the parking issue.  If we do not comply, we will be forced to bring in county reps at 60.00 per hour for the duration of the event and requiring us to have two.  This will cause a significant increase in entry fees.  If you have any questions, please contact me directly about this.
